On Mar.5th, 1963, singer Patsy Cline died in a plane crash! Four days later, on Mar. 9th, my 44 year old mother
passed away from cancer! That summer, at age 17, I took flying lessons at the Blairstown, NJ airport, with a
fellow student pilot, 16 year old Steven Crawford! He was able to complete the course first & 'soloed'! Weeks
later, he crashed the training plane (Piper Cub) & was killed! I took this as a 'sign' & never finished! I'm 78 now!

For Amelia Earhart, it was a Lockheed Electra, not a Lockheed Vega. Amelia did flew a Vega but she disappeared with an Electra

Manfred Von Richthofen in France in 1918.

I see a trend. Tiny planes are basically coffins with wings.

Yankees catcher Thurman Munson in August 1979 left off this list. This title talked about airplane crashes but with the amount of helicopter crashes included a more suitable title would have been more desirable.
