I remember watching this episode of "SNL" as a kid the night it aired. I'll never forget when my parents said, "wow, that guy's really playin' the drums."

Thank you so much and God bless you a million times for posting this great and precious concert video. I still remember seeing this when it first aired and being so impressed with Nirvana having a second guitar player. Just a personal vibe, I think Nirvana with two guitar players was gargantuan. Pat was the perfect fit. It would have been so cool to see them make a new album with Pat after In Utero.

U watched this at school in 6th grade on VHS.. my teacher was 21.. fine as hell and she loved to party and go to concerts.. ms Williams.. kurt had the look and persona of the perfect front man

He must have been stoned as he makes a couple errors in playing. It's very noticeable at 17 seconds into the video. I still love Nirvana!!!

No mics picking up the toms. The mids and highs of the guitars are SQUASHED.

Thank goodness Krist was able to keep the depth of the track together through it all.

Still, an amazing song.

If you every want to play Snare and symbols only and you're trying to learn this song on drums, listen to this, then follow up with a live performance where everything was miced properly.
