I've been daily driving EOS for two years now, absolutely love the distro, its contributors, and community. I've run it with KDE, XFCE, and Cinnamon, and their flavors on each were great. I'm looking at switching to vanilla Arch soon as I feel I'm finally reaching the level of know-how to do so, but to me that honestly just means EOS perfectly served its purpose. Its the perfect distro for hobbyists and tinkerers to get started in the Arch ecosystem. Terminal-centric, but with tons of QoL options available.

Daily driving EOS on my Framework and Desktop. Also my wife and son uses it on their PCs. Its solid and games and lots of software is really nice on it.

I love eOS. It is the first distro that have worked the best for me (20+ years of linux use), with least amount of issues over the longest time. And when I have had an issue I have managed to resolve it with a little googling.

I love arch based because i am a performance freak, so its good that EndeavorOS is just getting better! One of the few arch based OSs id build a server on.

What about Endeavour vs OpenSuse? Whats your opinion as a suse fan? What about broadcom drivers? I always need to install broadcom-wl on suse. Is it available in Endeavour

My favorite Arch-based distro by far. I've been using KDE Plasma on my desktop PC for at least 6 months. Updated from KDE 5 to 6 without issue. For the past few weeks, I've been using EndeavourOS Cinnamon on my laptop. ROCK SOLID. Both installs using Wayland session, updated to 6.9 kernel... ZERO ISSUES.

You mentioned that u use Nobara in gaming laptop. If you switch to iGPU, will the idle power draw go down? In kUbuntu 23.10, the Nvidia 4060 does not turn off with EnvyControl Optimus GPU switcher on iGPU.

I have found a love for EOS. Have been using it dual booted in my pc and a mini pc I have hooked up to my living room tv.
