Dylan explains how to systematically approach non-verbal reasoning style questions that appear in the 11+.

In this video he looks at the 'box code' question type and reveals how easy they can be after some practice and exposure.

Over on our website, we have created the biggest and best series of 11+ lesson videos you could imagine.

We've released an English lesson, a maths lesson, a verbal reasoning lesson, and a non-verbal/spatial lesson, as well as a homework task to practise what we covered, for every single week of the year! Each homework task also comes with a video walkthrough, where Dylan or Hayden talk through exactly how to answer each question!

Get in touch with us to find out how we can help you reach your potential in the 11+!

THE ANSWER IS EO. OHH AND I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, THIER SOO FUNNY AND USEFUL😘😄

Why does everybody think it’s fn? It’s EO because
3 triangles=e
1 triangle=d
2triangles=f
There is three triangles, not two.and now the squares.the square in the question is in the exact same place as o (from FO) therefore, it is O . if it was FN, there would be two triangles and a black square somewhat underneath the first triangle,

Hi Dylan, I perrsonally love your videos because you explain everythiing perfectly and to the point. Also the answer is FN. This is because if you look F means the black triangle is on the botttom and N means that there are three white triangle on top

The top letter represents the position of the black square. You can work this out because both of the figures that have an 'E' at the top share the same position. Therefore, our top letter is going to be 'F' to match the position of the black square. The bottom letter represents how many triangles there are. You can work this out because both of the figures that have an 'M' have one triangle in common. Therefore, our bottom letter is 'N' to match the figure with three triangles. FN is correct.

EO

This was great, thank you so much dylan

Because E means 3 triangles and there are 3 triangles so E is the top one and on the bottom, the answer must be O because the bottom is the position of the black circle so the answer must be O and then we get EO

Thank you for the video!!!
F

N

Is the answer. The top letter represents WHERE it is placed whilst the bottom, it tells you how many triangles there is.

Top means how many triangles and bottom means where the square is so it is B=em

Really Good, Thank You, I think 💭 the correct answer is FN, Am I correct?

The top letters stand for the placement of the black square, and the bottom letter stands for how many triangles.

the answer is E O because e means if there is 3 triangles and o because if the black square is at the bottom part of the square
