Low Temp Taper Fade Self Haircut Tutorial (EASY STEPS)

In this video I'm going to show you how to give yourself a low temp taper fade at HOME!!
All you need in this tutorial are an hairclipper with an adjustable lever, and the following three comb guards (#4, #2, and #1).

Step 1 - Even out the excess hair using number 4 guard lever all the way closed.

Step 2 - Bring out a trimmer and create an initial guideline right next to the middle of ear this area is called temple area of head. Keep it as straight as possible.

Step 3 - Using no guard attached lever all the way open, go up about a tiny bit above your initial guideline.

Step 4 - Take out your #1 comb guard and lever all the way open, go up once again but just a tiny bit again. We want to keep the taper fade lower than usual that’s why.

Step 5 - Take out your #2 guard lever all the way open try to blend in the fade layer you created earlier into the length on the #4.

Step 6 - Use no guard attached lever all the way closed, erase the line at the very bottom.

Step 7 - Open up the lever and blend the line above using the corner of your blade like side ways.

Lastly, #1 guard lever closed to blend the patchy area and the fade is complete.
