To honor the sacrifice of those brave men 80 years ago who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-day, or flew in those hostile skies in support of the operation, I'm announcing a DCS Screenshot contest.

The King of Britain just gave a tremendous speech honouring the thousands who made the ultimate sacrifice on D-Day.

Appreciate this reflected! Both my grandfathers were there. One in Normandy and one in the pacific. Mom’s dad’s brother was shot down and killed over Normandy in a B-24. I was standing on the beach the morning of the 64th anniversary. I will never forget it. The French paid more homage to us than we do here in the states. Wish I was there today. It was supposed to be a big one.

What a great way to remember what happend 80th years ago. Thank you Reflected that you make it possible, that we can simulate and try to feel what it must have been back then

I will definitely enter this contest, as a tribute to those brave mens from USA, UK Canada, France, Belgium, Nederland, Luxemburg, Norway, Czecoslovakia, Poland, Denmark, Greece who land on the beach, cover them from the air, or on the sea.

We will never forget them, and what they have done for my country, and all the European country that where under nazi's yoke.

The greatest generation of all time.

Awesome video, and I am forever grateful to all the men and women of the Allied forces who served, and those who are forever young. One day I hope to visit the memorial in France, and wish I could visit Arlington Cemetery tomorrow, but at least I'll be able to watch the videos on YouTube.

You should do a campaign based around one of the 9th AAF P-47 fighter bomber units like the 50th fighter group at Lymington. Or the 365th at Azeville after d-day with the hell hawks. With loads of strafing, shooting up tanks, trains troops etc. That would be great to see and make a nice change.
