Hi mate, if still around Frankfurt I suggest you check out Idstein as a day trip. Totally worth it.

Well at least you will never forget that journey ;) There is a beautiful old town called Heidelberg with gothic architecture. Might be good for a day trip. Think its about 1h 20mins from Frankfurt.
