The War Within Dark Ranger rework is finally here and BM hunter is the first spec to benefit from all of these changes! Today we’re looking at the new war within bm hunter hero talents, changes and see exactly how these will change the spec.

Beast Mastery hunter is doing great in the raid but it’s kind of struggling in mythic+ so the question is, will the bm hunter rework bump the spec to the top of the charts? Let’s see…

It’s basically the war within paladin rework because the class talents have major impact on how each spec will play, let’s check it out!

I just feel that Dark Ranger should just be a Marksman hero talent. Thematically, just feels weird to me. With Rider's of the Apocolypse, they could have mirrored similar ideas from this pet spec. Imagine mounting up on a upscaled version of a stabled pet. Or summoning legendary beasts from every expansion that would be sweet easter eggs. that could cast an ability or skill and then disappear like pitlord.

You missed the part where Hunter's Prey also increases the targets hit per pet you have out, not just damage.

We need a dark arrow auto attack visual effect! Like the bow from Sunwell or that one from Legion! While they're at it, allow hunters to apply weapon illusions to arrows. Also, add a glyph to Rogues and Hunters to use any bow/gun in the place of that Pistol for Outlaw and cross bow for Survival... Plz and ty blizz!

That is great, lord knows dark ranger needed it but I do hope something is cooking for pack leader. I don't want to get into an argument of what hero spec deserves a rework more but pack leader def. has to be up there. I mean bloody hell could pack leader at the very least get some sort of unique animation.
