The First Carpet Basketball Game!

These are multi-purpose rooms in schools, churches, public buildings, used for much more than basketball. Had a grade school that had this in our location. Most of these are in locations where wet floors could cause a serious safety issue (snow tracked in). Also, the sound absorbing properties of the carpet make this practical for assemblies, meetings, and performances. In this video you see a stage, which is common in smaller schools.

growing up my old boys club had a carpet court. ive also played on a court covered with little tiles at a boys club.
