Using constraints in your sketches is a very powerful way to create fully constrained geometry which can easily be altered in future.

In this video we'll go through the key Sketch Constraints you need to know for proper parametric modelling in Fusion 360.

As a new maker I cannot thank you enough for these videos. You are a great teacher and really appreciate the time and energy that went into this.

Hello. Just wanted to let you know that you are one of the better presenters of all these instruction videos I found on YT. Very well done. And I did learn a lot . Thanks

Very well explained - Thank you very much. Your videos are really of great help for me to manage the change from "just" illustrating with CorelDraw to constructing with Fusion. Keep up the good work!

I started recently with CAD, using Tinkercad and as I encountered complicated challenges, experimenting with fusion360.
Your tutorials are very easy to understand, Mr Angus. A big thank you!
I'm really making progress and by thus am able to help people more easely when 3D-printing parts.

It's very helpful when you say the hotkey as you invoke a tool/function. Seriously: tutorialists that neglect to do so are markedly harder to follow. So, THANKS!

Would love to see this drawn from scratch! Thanks for the videos.

WOW!!! I thought I know most of the constraint uses. Was I WRONG. Thanks Angus for this great tutorial. I've been using Fusion 360 for over a year and now realize I have a LOT to learn.

Just now learning to make my own models in Fusion 360 and I want to thank you for the tips and tricks. You are making my life less frustrating trying to figure all this stuff out. Please keep them coming as I really like the way you explain everything!! Thank you so much Angus :)

Omg.. i had been ignoring these contraints for the few days i've been using this program. This helps so much! No wonder my stuff was constantly breaking.

I really like these tutorials. Opens up a whole new world of 3d-printing.

You are very helpful. I have been using Sketchup for awhile and still am learning. But just bought a wood CNC and was wanting what else is out there for design besides Easel keep it up and I will continue watching and learning from you. Thanks

Super Helpful - Are you a Genius? I think so. You are a good teacher. Thanks for taking the time to publish - I'm working through your series of Fusion videos for my own 3D prints.

Oh man, knowing about this would have saved me a boatload of time and mental math when I was experimenting earlier this morning. It probably would have saved only a couple minutes, but it still would have been much easier.

I learn so much coming back to these videos after spending some time in Fusion 360. Thanks for doing them!

One comment: I'd suggest pointing out that the order in which you select the two sketch objects affects how some of the constraints are applied. For example, if you want to make two diverging lines become parallel then one of those lines will change its orientation when you apply the constraint. But which line will move? It can be frustrating if you don't know what to expect when the constraint is applied.

This is really awesome. I've never really understood constraints.
* & yes, I'd like to see a tangible object, that you have to show us, drawn from scratch :)

I'd like to think I'm rather experienced in Fusion 360 (picked up incredibly quickly over 3 yrs ago) but I never bothered using these. You may have just changed my mind!

Love your Fusion videos. Any suggestions on where to find information on good workflow practices? Sometimes I have issues with trying to go back and make change in the early stages of the part and messing up the model, I'm sure it has to do with my workflows.
