SLS Green Run - NASA Ignites RS-25s (Slow-Mo)

preview_player
Показать описание
The Core Stage of NASA's next moon rocket, SLS, static fires its four RS-25 main engines for 67.2 seconds during the Green Run test. Engine #4 had a "Major Component Failure", or MCF, signaling SLS to shutdown early. NASA is working to find the issue seen during the test.

Even the deer were intrigued ☆ Thank you for this!

0:19 "each of the four engines have flown Space Shuttle missions previously"
these pieces of art should be in a museum, not the bottom of the ocean.

3:19 look at the deers left corner! They're like the hell are these humans doing now?

It's a consensus; the most interesting thing in that video at 2:35 was the reaction from the herd of deer... 😜

I love the sound of rocket engines, so deep and guttural. Sends shivers down mine spine, even the Deer were amazed by this awesome spectacle.

Ok so this is for NASA's next moon rocket... Powered by engines previously flown on the Space Shuttle...? I realise that relying on one company is probably bad business sense, but this seems like an awful lot of money for what seems to be old technology repurposed.

I wish the NASA feed had captured the sound like that. Nice job.

Men of the past: where will I get my next meal?
Men of today: We make our own clouds
Men of the future: We have cloud cities

Video including slomo was shorter than the full burn expected 😂

I love how they tried to do a SpaceX and say it was successful. SLS aborting at this point is catastrophic for project that is already a catastrophe.

Yes it's difficult for old hardware to perform for more than a minute.

Say what you will about the SLS program, but there is no doubt this is a visual treat.

Awesome video again, guys!

And your music during the end credits is fascinatingly addictive! Have you thought about releasing a full track of it, or is it possible to get the stems from somewhere so I can extend it myself? Hope you see this :)
