Is JUCE also the right choice for writing a MIDI/USB based sound editor?

FINALLY THANK FUCK! (and no I won't backspace or apologise for cussing coz sometimes its the only entirely appropriate word left to use)
This whole time I've been teaching myself programming - on&off as it goes for near 2yrs - I've been wondering WHY don't programmers make it easy on themselves and just build something that's basically like Lego... I'd think things to myself like "...they can't be THAT smart if they can't see that shit..." while at the same time doing my head in trying to figure out how to recognize a midi event like a Scanner class (in java? c#? FFS I forget!) recognizes QWERTY keystrokes! ...That's not easy to find when you have no idea what the syntax or Libraries are named... or if THIS IDE/Lang im trying to get thru 20 YT tutorials on any given day for actually supports that anyway!... Am I a fucking idiot? Or with all these mad creative ideas (which ARE NOT unique by any means other than sheer amount of) Am I just more suited to being the programmers Boss??

Anyway, be my friend! lol - come talk to me about this shit or invite me to a forum or community or fidk... I promise its good value all round! ;)

Yep, I'd love to be there, but there's an ocean in-between.
