JYETech Oscilloscope Firmware Upgrade - 12v Solar Shed

I've had a few problems with my JYETech DSO 112 rebooting and switching off entirely while in use. I found that the latest firmware said it would fix this, so in this video I show how to update the scope.

This method can be used to update many of the JYETech DSOs including the DSO 112A, DSO 138 kit, DSO 094, DSO 082, DSO 062 as well as others.

You have to be brave to go through that perlarver to update the f/w, but well done.

Hello Adam, did the upgrade help? BTW, there is a new DSO112A model on the market with better parameters. Did you try to upgrade the FW on the existing model to this one (not sure if possible though)?

My 112A does not display V and F anymore, and the front switch freezes after boot. I have to shut it down from menu, and no Hold function either. I will try to reload the firmware with your tutorial, but most likely it will end on garbage bin.
