11:45 This is one of the best ways to see if an intruder is present or not, seeing if your cat is hiding. There was actually a case of this where this lady called the cops because her cat that was _ALWAYS_ at the door when she returned from work wasn't at the door one night. The cops were annoyed and thought she was being silly, but decided to search anyways for her peace of mind. They returned almost immediately having apprehended a man who was hiding in her closet. This likely saved her life, so please remember it.

I love how the guy in the 3rd story was glad his cat was okay, kinda wholesome

Story 1: “Friend Zone”
Story 2: “Fluzone”

It’s always a fantastic idea to leave your child alone in your house half the days of the week, without disclosing where in the hell you’re going…

That first story, ending with "she found a better guy I guess" and "you'd think after this we'd've started dating the next week" is such a 'nice guy' way to end it. Saving someone's life isn't a romantic move, and it's disturbing how many movies play off of the false trope that it is. It's basic human decency, a person may receive another's favor for a little while, but they aren't entitled to be given anything and the majority of relationships that are based on "I saved your life/we survived it" don't often work.

9:02 - I love how she's desperately trying to find the guy who almost kidnapped her friend but makes it a point to say, "I met them there but didn't get close to anyone to not get them sick." Must maintain that social distancing.

Story 2. STOP TELLING CRIMINALS THAT YOU'RE CALLING THE COPS! All this does is make it easier for them to escape and go do bad things to other people.

Edit: I wrote this comment after watching a different video where someone came to OPs house and was outside. OP in that story did the same thing as the one in this story where they threatened to call the cops to make the person go away. The person left and went on to victimize someone else. That could have been avoided if that OP had just made the call about someone trying to get in since they were safe inside the house. Had the call been made without the antagonist knowledge they likely would have stayed at OPs house longer and there would've been a higher likelihood of them being caught. This story jogged my mind of the ither one which is why I made the comment. If you are in danger and the threat to call will help remove you from danger then you should do that but if you are already safe just make the call. If the situation changes and you become in danger you now have the ability to say I already called the cops and they're on the way. That was the whole point I was trying to make, though admittedly the story I picked for an example was not the best one to articulate that point.

Is it possible in the future we could also maybe get updated versions of horror stories from the past? Like I said some of the stories you found on Reddit that you made videos on in the past.. say more happened afterwards and some of those people posted an update.. that would be so fire to see a video on that! I mean.. out of all the stories we’ve gotten from Mr. nightmare over the years.. there has to be at least some where more stuff happened afterwards .

Imagine being told your friend was at your house and then hearing the same person that said that scream "RUN THERES SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSE" on your way out, that's something straight out of a nightmare

The most creepy part of Video 1 isn't the intruder, but the guy's bitter disappointment he didn't score a date from a friend he called the police for. "You'd think after this we'd have started dating the next week, but this didn't happen...." Stuff like this is bone chilling. No one is owed a date for calling the police for someone. Bizarre.

Can we all agree that this guy has the best stories on the internet? Actually intriguing and scary stories.

Nowadays, the comments are not about the stories, it’s about Mr. Nightmare when he uploads 😅

Story 3 is just a reminder. No matter if you live in a safe neighborhood or not, always keep your doors locked because you never know when something like that might happen

The first guy thought his reward for helping a friend is he'd get to date her? He's not a good friend.

That first story, he literally could’ve just messaged her and said to stay calm and what was happening through text. Plus, it seems so convenient that all of these people all run away in time and/or never get caught

“Tori’s parents weren’t neglectful or anything” goes on to explain how they were in fact neglectful lol. Gone for multiple nights in a row? With the kid not knowing where they are... yeah that’s neglect

Story 1 - Leaving your child randomly for however long without letting them know where you are on the regular is neglect. Also, if my front door was open when I know I didn’t open it I’d be getting the f out of there. Story 2 - why did the friend tell him they were calling the police? Stupid 😂 Casey was nearly a statistic there - ALWAYS tell your friends when you’re leaving! Or just don’t leave your friends. Story 3 - I wonder how the guy actually got in though and how long he’d been there 🤔 Thanks Mr Nightmare - another great video.

in the first story, the person who wrote the entry, was really smart for thinking before he spoke about the intruder in the room.

Story 1 guy is a “nice guy”. Why would you feel so entitled to a relationship with the girl just because you helped her to not DIE??
