A quick tutorial on how to change the extension of a file on Windows 10 (in this example we are changing a .txt file to a .bat file). This can be useful to switch for example .png images to .jpg in case certain sites don't allow the upload of png files!

The simple steps are:
- Enable 'Show file extensions' option in the computer settings
- Click the file twice to rename it (or right click and rename)
- Change the file extension and accept the warning

Also works the same way for Windows 11!

This helped me actually be able to play NFS:U2 in the most ridiculous way...
i downloaded it for free on "OldGames" and it didnt work, surprisingly, all it takes to "insert disk 2" is to make a .txt file, name it "foobar" and remove the .txt conversion and voila, it launches LOL.
