Rotor weight - The Camaro OEM discs are as mentioned 24.x lbs. The Corvette Z06 rings are several pounds lighter. I recall they were about 19-20 pounds.

OEM Corvette C6 J55 Heavy Duty one-piece rotors weigh about 22 lbs. In a nutshell, it sounds like the Girodisk (is that actually a type of sandwich?) rotors are lighter and more finely constructed. I'm not surprised. That's American versus Australian engineering and manufacturing for you. The 'muricans producin' stuff of the finest quality, & the ozzies producing substantial, no foolin' around products.

Hardware - We use a Grade 12.9 flanged HHCS and a NAS M6x1 high temperature self locking nut. They are 1-time use and do not require safety wire.

Thanks Ken! For reference, the OEM rotor ring weighs about 24.5 lbs. I don’t have any of the other specs though.

What type of hardware do they come with? TTY bolts or other? Can they be safety wired?

Do you have to replace with 2 piece set rotors or can you change it from two piece set to 1 piece set. Only reason why I’m asking is becuase there is a huge price difference
