Protesters confront Cowboys' Jerry Jones at NFL meeting

The NFL is a job (calling people that make millions playing a game "slaves" is idiotic). The players are at work. Just like any job there are rules. If you break the rules, you can lose your job. The NFL has a very long book full of rules the players must follow. If they don't like the rules, they can quit and find another job some where else. If people don't like what they're seeing (people disrespecting our Flag and National Anthem) they can turn the channel (which is what is happening). Eventually, if this continues, the NFL will go bankrupt and all the NFL football players will need to find real jobs (with rules).

The NFL will thrive long after this. The lives of black American's will improve and this country will prevail with a multi-cultural society that is removed from the fear and hatred that has held us back. It's a slow process, but the tide has turned. How do we know? The anger and outright racism that has come to the surface recently is the signal for their demise. They are worried and afraid, so they are lashing out. Let them lash out, the tide has already turned. Let their anger suffocate and stifle their efforts. All things must come to an end. In this case, it's been long overdue and will be worth the wait. Enjoy watching them vent and spew their ignorance until then. We can be thankful we are not like them. We are BETTER!

He didn't get a discussion on issues because of his distasteful approach. It seemed Jerry recognized him and wanted to engage him until the guy began attacking him and making unfounded allegations of racism towards Jerry and the President. Jerry realized no good would come from interacting with this person. The mind was absent or closed off. The body and soul may have been bought by an agenda driven organization. Jerry chose wisely to move along.

Kneeling at the national anthem has nothing to do with slaves. Unless you make it racist. Standing for the flag is for respect for our country that many have died from fighting to make American lives better. If you hate America I'm sure the government is not keeping you here. Many of the Dallas Cowboys have police records. I'm sure they were standing in front of the judge.
