Excellent troubleshooting procedure! My Safari browser would only open a blank, white page, freeze for 10 seconds or so, then crash. Deleting the web history fixed it for me. Thanks for the assist!

Thank you I disabled all my experimental stuff off & my Safari is back working like before.

I had two keys not work on safari and it would make the app crash, these two keys only had problems with safari. I tried switching language keyboards which didn’t help unless I changed to another language without those keys. What fixed my issue is deleting all the search history from settings. Had this issue when not connected to WiFi and using data “safari server stopped responding” resetting network settings work for a little. When It did not work I simply turned on Airplane mode and turned off and boom, connection.
