Thanks so much. We followed this step by step, although for just the basic version and downsized for a smaller dog. The video, drawings and step by step instructions were invaluable. We spent about $150 on materials at Lowes.

Roofer here You did a good job. There's a metal piece that goes on the very top to prevent water from getting in the top side of the shingles kind of like the metal edge you put before but it's a lot wider and goes on top of roofs without a ridge. Also caulking the nails would help make it last longer without leaking.

I've never done framing before and I was going to use 2x4 for a smaller outhouse for an outdoor cat lol. I actually have some spare 2x2 but I might need more. Hopefully mine comes out half as good as yours lol you're too good
