If they played this sort of music in a coffee shop, I would probably visit them more!

Her name is Tatiana, she is mostly self taught, her influences include Gwen Stefani, and for the harsh, Otep and Randy Blythe (Lamb of God).
Her harsh vocals are coming from the false vocal folds, which are above the vocal chords.
Glad you noticed Vlad on drums, this live session is a redo of an older song to showcase him, as he had joined the band not long before this. He is classically trained on piano, and self taught on drums. Eugene plays a 5 string Overload bass, and does tap a lot. Roman, on guitar, has played ESP, OD for quite a while, and I've heard he is going to Jackson now.
They are from Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, the part Russia took in 2014. According to their website, they were formed in 2009, but they consider 2010 (wiki says 2008/09) as the year of formation because none of the original members remain. 4 albums to date, and some EP's. This is from the 2nd album, King of Everything, in 2016. Tati can do it live too, the usual next step is to see that, with either Perennial live at Wacken 2019, or Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev.
Also check out, Teacher, Teacher, Home Back, Vortex, and Judgment (and Punishment).
You didn't have to redo the video because of the pink border, the audio and your reaction were fine, we've seen this video hundreds of times.

Welcome to Jinjer. If she doesn't like growls try their song Bad Water. Perennial live at Wacken shows her talent well.

Damn, that is one hell of a drummer. I mean the vocals are fantastic, but the drummer is really talented.

Jinjer is a progressive metal band. Tatiana is a world class growler.

Bro you're going to love this band. This is about a 4 for Jinjer, their songs get alot more complex along with a heavier sound from the band and Tati. I'd suggest Jinjer Judgement and Punishment either the omv or the one take vocal performance. But if yall want to dive into some of the heavier side of Jinjer, Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev is where ya go.

Welcome to Jinjer. I recommend "Perennial" live at Wacken as a follow up. Good reaction. (Subbed)

Really recommend a listen with the lyrics pulled up. Like Pau from The Warning, Tatiana writes amazing lyrics in a second language. The band is from Eastern Ukraine and therefore primarily Russian speaking. So much so that only two of the members are comfortable giving interviews in English. Tatiana is as strong a lyricist as she is a vocalist.

Their live performance of Perennial at Wacken is great. Again, the lyrics are pure poetry.

The reactions to when Tatiana drops that note never get old 😅. You guys are gonna love them. Nothing but absolute bangers.

I have been enjoying watching reactions to this for about six months now...I think that one of the funniest, most common reactions (well, let's make it the second most common reaction, because the most common reaction is people immediately panicking and pausing it and saying: "What the hell was that?!!" while looking at their equipment, like maybe they have a bad cable or something.) It's a quick grin when the first harsh vocal line comes in, like: "Oh! Wow! What a surprise changeup! That's neat!" Now, at this point, they're thinking this is where, like, maybe the bassist has come in with his vocal part. It's not until at least the second line that they realize: "Oh...That's HER singing that part"...Heh...

“Coffee shop vibes” was such a honest reaction 😂😂😂
Just a matter of fact, Tatiana just does the growling effortlessly. As much I know, she’s never been trained to.
Nice reaction guys 😉

Thank you guys for doing a jinjer reaction, they are another one of my favorite bands along with sleep token.Tatiana is incredible and this whole band is just off the charts talented. Its always so awesome to see everyone ls reaction when they first hear tati scream and growl for the first time, Tatiana said she used to practice her screams on the side of the road with traffic going by and screaming in her pillow.Check out the song perennial live from wacken next.

I've never seen you, and I may never see you again, but you two had the most honest Jinjeer reactions, on the internet. I wish you the best!

I love Opeth, so I took to Jinjer like a Pisces to water. Opeth was the band that opened me to growling vocals, and Jinjer is doing the same for a lot of people. I kept listening to Opeth because I loved the musicality and clean vocals - then one day I realized I loved the growls. Should definitely check out one of their live performances.

It always makes my day when I find a new reaction video for Pisces.

This was intended to show off Vlad who, a skilled pianist, had become the new drummer. Smooth guitar like light on shimmering water and PIRANHA! Tatiana is a Pisces. See the goldfish in her earrings? The sign = two fish, two personalities. My late partner was Pisces and bipolar -- it totally fits! Tatiana was a teacher in Ukraine before music "hooked" her (pun intended) - imagine being the class clown? Cue their song "Teacher, Teacher"! Such a tight and talented band. There is a trained, careful way to growl/scream without hurting your voice and Tatiana does it naturally. Some just have the instinct for it, I guess! Eugene the bassist is VERY good - looks like Tyrion Lannister in the other song video I recommende!

The Opeth reference is right. Eugene, the bassist references them a lot of one of his major influences, especially the Blackwater Park album. As the the previous comments said, their discography is phenomenal. You can’t go wrong with them, one of the best bands out there 🤘

“I have ultimate respect for that noise that she just made.” LOL. My feelings as well. I’m not at all into metal, but the whole band here are amazing musicians, and her demon voice pretty much terrifies me.
