I live in an apartment. Part of my storage is four 40 slot over the door shoe organizers. I keep my OTCs, condiments and shampoo and body wash. That's just part of my apartment preps. It works very well.

My animals, gardens, work, daughter, dad, cleaning, food preservation, everything else for prepping, information gathering, lawn, vehicle and home maintenance, setting my older daughter and family up out at my farm, teaching them the land, farming, animal husbandry, takes up all this single fathers time. Isn't God great...I am truly blessed to be able to participate in my family's life, safety and future. 🤔👍

I'm up really late canning chicken and pork. Planting more vegetables tomorrow. I couldn't be happier with the progress I'm making. I'm going to can more lentil soup tomorrow night, along with the rest of the pork. Then 16 bean soup with polish sausage, tomatoes, peppers and onions. I'm going to can some water as well in case I need sterile water for irrigating wounds. I've been gardening my whole life and I'm 65 years old and I'm still learning.

I enjoy the intimate feel of this channel. It's immensely helpful simply to not feel alone, to feel that there are communities bouncing ideas around and contributing support. Thank you!

Really smart idea getting the drawers to divide up and organize for various medical issues. Bravo! I used to work for a Family practitioner, and the sample (drug sample) closet drove me crazy. I actually devised s color coded system for each category of meds and I put a color coded key on the door so anyone could quickly open the closet and know where to look for their allergy samples, ect. The doctor loved it and I was very proud of the organization as well. It made it so much easier to be able to look and see what he had on hand, and what was needed. Keep up the good work Girl...and be safe!

Jace is now able to sell meds for people with chronic illnesses as well! (Not controlled substances, though) This could be a gamechanger for anyone who depend on medicine to survive. If you asked your doctor for a year's supply of your meds, most of them would probably think you were crazy, so this is a great option.

I've been getting into prepping the past few months, but it's slow going because my hubs isn't quite on board amongst other major things. Thank you so much for the advice. I appreciate you.

Tasha, I haven't had DEBT for years now. I don't have a years worth of Tylenol though. Did I tell you that I was talking to my neighbor a few weeks ago and we found out we BOTH are watching you! I'm sure I've been watching you longer though.😂 Small Town, small world!

We saved a chest of drawers for storage in our prepping area. Vitamins, fishing supplies, first aid supplies, otc meds, etc. I'm so glad we did. Both ends of our closet are for stacking toilet paper, etc.

For those with small spaces, look up vertical gardening ideas. Very informative and a real space saver!

I have no debt. I have a tabletop garden indoors. I have been doing detailed inventory. I found that I wasted money on Augason Farms buckets and cans but they had bugs or mold so it was a waste. I set up the garden and the possum destroyed it already. So I have to replant it all. I have built up my seed packets because a supplier had a deal on 30 different seed packets for $12.

I made 1095 dried meal pouches that are good until past 2026.

I am working on making my own seasoning packets so that I can turn whatever I forage or grow or get as rations into a nice meal. I found a soy sauce powder where a little goes a long way.

I have all my medical including the skin glue.

I am working on it.

What scares me the most is I’m am a type one diabetic in fact I’ve been a type one since I was seven weeks old and now I’m 60 I’ve been putting insulin up but the reality is if I run out I’m dead so I’m prepping for my family because they have a much better chance of survival than I do. thank you for posting this it’s incredible information that people need to know.

I bought three of the plastic three drawer containers and put them down one wall of a walk in closet to store meds in. I started with anything I could store of what ever prescriptions someone might get or have then moved on to otc. I did out grow those drawers but they are nice! I am type 2 diabetic. I buy my insulin for 25.00 a vial at Walmart without prescription. I buy four at a time and I date their box and they go in a box in one of the fridges, I always make sure to take oldest date out. There are many things people can do. Last note I have always been called mama bear! Lol be it in person or in online games. I think your doing great. ❤

For those who are unable to grow their own food on even a medium scale because they don't have the space or the time, get canned food and stack it under your bed, behind your couch, in your closet. Look at your storage space in your home and you'll be amazed once you start clearing out junk and clothing you no longer need, how much room for stored food and other important preps you have.
