Even more excited about this phone after seeing this demo. I bought it day 1. This phone just looks SLICK and its going to be 100 times better than the LP2 which I also enjoy using but this just looks so much better. January seems so far away!
I was on the fence between the LP3 and the Mudita Kompakt but this video convinced me I am getting the LP3

Do you feel like the light phone 2 is still viable? my main gripe with the light phone 2 was that id constantly accidently call and press the wrong button but i did enjoy the e ink alot, but not sure if i should wait for the lp3, i also do like the earphone jack

My IRIS Easy Flip alternative. For $60 I have rugged build quality, USB-C port, headphone jack, changeable battery, zero 3rd party apps, secure OS (neither Android or iOS), a rear camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and the following native apps: Calendar, Contacts, Messages, Call History, Gallery, Voice Recorder, Music Player, Clock, Calculator and an FM Radio. Best of all, it offers excellent PHONE performance while satisfying the original DETOX objective. I'm not certain the LP3's virtual QWERTY keyboard, flashlight and privacy-risking Map app are worth an additional >$700.

Now, does anyone knows if there will be/is a way of getting audible on there? I think that is the hardest one for me (I drive a lot and use that tome to "read"). As I seen podcast option I wonder how different from audiobooks that is 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

It would be cool if the usb-c charge port could also output sound for headphones. Hopefully.

I hope there is a way to have podcast downloads from Spotify or music lists, but highly doubt that.
It’s a long wait till January but I’m glad I preordered at the $399.

I still think the fonts are bit bigger on the overall screen size. But i guess there will be options to reduce the size of the fonts.

Hey Andrew, im thinking about pre ordering the lightphone 3 this week. Anything to keep in mind in terms of transitioning from an iPhone? Mostly just things like thinking ahead for travel, sporting/music events (since tickets are mostly on phones now), any banking/payment items? Just anything to keep in mind before switching to a light phone. Any pointers would be appreciated:)

I don't care how minimalist a phone is, if it's got those features and they're charging more that £200 for it, it isn’t worth it.
