China’s Xi rebukes Trudeau at G20, chides Canadian leader for ‘leaking’ meeting details

Chinese leader Xi Jinping was captured on camera rebuking his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau on November 16, 2022, on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Indonesia. In a tense exchange relayed through a translator, President Xi said it was “inappropriate” that details from his private discussion with Trudeau a day earlier were “leaked” to the press.

I hate to say this, but I have to agree with China’s president for life on this one. There has to be a certain amount of trust in having a dialogue that issues & disagreements can be respectfully discussed. And the way Trudeau Could not leave fast enough, shows he knew he was in the wrong.

"In Canada... " Starting from the first phrase, the PM has already made it wrong. In dealing with "world" leaders, respect is essential and you cannot impose to others your own culture. One word this leader forgot is RESPECT. If he only lives to please Canadians then he must not get involved with anything BEYOND CANADA.
