Is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Worth Spending On?

I am sure there are some Laneige Lip Mask fans out there, so yes, I’m ready for the outpouring in the comments! 😅🙈

But to be fair, I don’t think it’s a ‘bad product’. I just think it’s not THE best in the market and kind of overrated for what it is. There are just better alternatives to this, in my opinion. Had there been some active ingredients in it for treatment or better, more convenient packaging or even if it treated chapped lips, I don’t think I’d even mind the fragrance or the price point. I just don’t see it any better than a basic flavoured lip balm.

But apart from that, tell me what else should I review next? I’d love your suggestions on popular/viral products, that are priced slightly in the premium or luxury category, as that’s what my focus on this series primarily is. So one, it has to be very popular and two, slightly overpriced so I can share if it’s ’worth the spend’.

This is literally god sent for me. Works magic on my lips. I literally apply it everyday over my lipstick. ❤ I do not think its overrated, it’s just a personal preference of texture and skin condition. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This worked like a charm for my chapped lips and yes they had cuts and bled, but the lip sleeping mask literally fixed them overnight . Highly recommend it, amazing product.

I always apply Vaseline on my lips before going to sleep every night and it does wonders on my lips 💜💕

I would never say that it's not worth spending money bcz this worked well for me. Many of them don't like it simply bcz they don't use it right. The purpose of this mask is pretty much inclined to exfoliation rather than hydration and that is why many people don't find it useful.

1) This is a lip mask and so it's meant to be used only as a mask at night. And you need to apply and keep this on your lips overnight.
2) You don't have to use a lot on your lips for it to work. You can use just one decent scoop with the spatula they give.
3) Once you wake up in the morning, the first thing you need to do before brushing your lips is to just splash some water on your lips and use your fingers and rub your lips. If you rub it for 5-10 secs you will start to feel your dead cells peeling off and you should wash off your lips. This way your lips will become soft.
4) When you are going out or once you wash this off you should apply any lip balm. Maybe for some this mask is not working bcz of the lip balm they use.

P.S: Please try to use the above steps and check out the difference. If it still doesn't work, its hard luck.

I totally agree with you. It didn't work for me and i felt it dried my lips even more because I do have extremely dry lips.. And it's not slightly overrated.. I feel it's extremely overrated.. There are many better lip care products in that range

It really worked for me. My lips were severely chapped and I had a function next day so I just applied generously and went to sleep. And in one night my lips became sooo much better. Even better than my normal lips.
But I don’t notice much difference when I use it every night. So I use chapstick everyday and once or twice a week I apply this at night. I got small once but I liked it so much that I got full sized. But I still didn’t finish my small one. So you can get small one. It’ll be enough for long.
