I like the Laneige lip mask. I’ve had no issues with it. I like it for the scent and feel. But I will say I do really love the elf holy hydration lip make. Super adorable and feels great!

I tried the Torriden Lip Essence at your suggestion and it's my holy grail! Slather on a bunch at night, fire up the humidifier, and my lips are plump and hydrated in the morning.

I think Revolution Skincare deserves a honorable mention here, because they have this Berry Sleeping Mask, which is an exact dupe of Laneige. It's just cruelty free and like a fraction of Laneige's price. The texture, the smell and colour are the same, I have both and I've compared them for long time.

it keeps my lips hydrated and feels nice on. i havent had dry lips since i got it, which was february 2023 and i still have almost a half left which will probably last me for another 4-5 months. so it lasts a long time and is hydrating… i got it for 12$ off yesstyle so i’d say its worth 12$

Love Leneige Lip Mask for a few reasons 1. I enjoy using it ! Love the experience of it, very nice. 2. I can feel that it’s still on in the morning. And I like that. 3. I like the gloss look and take it to work sometimes for day wear. 4. I’ve had my pot for about a year and have gone through maybe half !

I have a couple Laneige lip masks and love it. It's one of the few lip masks that actually work for my lips. I don't get breakouts or irritation/dryness from it. I'm allergic to rose, so I can't use the rose lip mask. I might try the Pacifica one, but the Laneige lasts forever.

Laneige was gifted to me... Back then I didnt know it wasn't cruelty free ...so i kept it and used it overnight ...but woke up to a really bad acne around my mouth.. i normally am not ance prone..
Plus, I'm sensitive to fragrances... They give me headache.. and i feel sick...and it was strong and really thick..it felt like a thick waterless layer on my lips.. felt like it was sucking moisturizer out of my delicate lip skin!
Petroleum jelly is definitely a life saver!!!

I accidentally really loved laneige, all products I’ve bought from them have worked phenomenally for me but I recently became aware of the fact that the brand isn’t cruelty free. The lip mask was my favorite as I did feel it hydrated and protected my lips, I loved the finish, and I had no problems with it, but I don’t want to support testing on animals and the price is a little much for me and I’m so glad you brought up Pacifica’s version. I will definitely be trying it, especially because all their values align perfectly with my concerns

I've used the Laneige one and it's ok. It's more comfortable on the lips compared to plain petroleum jelly. Though, I do agree that it doesn't really do much to hydrate the lips. I tried the Torriden lipbalm that Cass recommended in a different video, and it was also ok. In general, I've yet to find my soulmate lip balm 🥲
