looking back, i swear anything released/licensed by UKF in 2011 was pure gold. in the space of three years it's gone from one category; Dubstep, a genre loved and hated by many, the Marmite of its time; to now a million different sub-genres. leaving many original fans of these classic tracks thinking, the fuck?

The beautiful thing about Dubstep though, which wouldn't have been the case if it had been invented 20 or 30 years ago, is that there is so much room for diversity.

The genre has grown up in the age of iTunes, Beatport, Soundcloud, social networks, and satellite radio. The kind of diversity you find in music today was unthinkable not too long ago. But now, there will never be a shortage of different styles and subgenres, and so if you have specific tastes, you will always be satisfied.
