My favorite shiny fail was the one where this streamer ran from a shiny magnemite, or the one where he killed the shiny crabrawler, or the one where he ran from a shiny lotad. All of those were good fails, right matt :D

Otaku's Darmanitan fail is best because of his mispronunciation of the name "DARMATAN!" when it faints (Also the Darmanitan had Belly Drummed beforehand).

5 years ago I was at a HS bowling tournament and everyone was playing X&Y, after getting all my gear prepared and played for about 5 minutes until I encountered my first every shiny, Graveler, I told my friends and they gather around me, I got it down to 1 HP but it decided to use Self-destruct, we all laughed and the team won the tournament

A couple years ago, my friend and I were shiny hunting in lets go eevee. Keep in mind that she knew nothing about Pokemon. I left the room for a minute to use the bathroom or something.
Big mistake.
When I came back, she told me she had seen a darker looking Pikachu with sparkles around it. I showed her a pic of a shiny Pikachu and she said that's what she saw.
So that's how my friend failed a shiny in my game.
The only shiny I've ever failed is a shiny(cant remember what it was) in Pokemon Go because I ran out of pokeballs. I already had a shiny of it so it didn't matter as much but still.

My favorite fail in this video was the Rhyhorn. That was so cringe, man. "All the Rhyhorns have survived Foul Play before." Fair play, but IVs, Different stats. But, ey, we've all been there at some point, even me. Right, Magnemite Matteh? XD

Reminds me of the time when I killed a shiny Ribombee because I had never seen a Ribombee before and I didn't see the sparkles at the beginning
