RIO InTouch Single Handed Spey 3D Fly Line - RIO Products

RIO's InTouch Single Handed 3D Spey line has been designed to be a fantastic tool for anglers that prefer/need to perform roll and singlehanded Spey casts. The rear weight distribution loads a rod deeply in the tightest of quarters, allowing anglers to make long, effortless casts with obstacles close behind. Though primarily designed for roll casting, this line also performs exceptionally easy overhead casts with incredibly smooth loop control.

This F/H/I (3D) version has a triple density (floating, hover, intermediate) coating, that is perfect for swinging soft hackles across fast, uneven flows, or for stripping streamers for autumn browns. The multi density coating ensures the fly stays down, yet easily allows for complex mends and line control.

Bought this line in 4wt, 5wt, 6wt, 7wt and 8wt. Outstanding, the 7wt and 8wt cast effortlessly on my 7/8 wt salmon/sea trout 10' fly rod in my salmon club river. Very hard line to get now, glad i got the original ones few weeks back. Thanks Rio, as mentioned outstanding fly line. Bought weights above as wanted to see myself and have lighter rods to suite lighter line.

This is my favorite "specialty" line of all time. The presentation it provides significantly increases the number of fish caught. I now use the SHS 3D as the alternate line on my spare spool and the SHS standard as my main line on all my single hand rods. The 7 wt. SHS works great on my 4wt. Winston Microspey. Awesome lines, hope they stay in the Rio lineup!

Would this work as a steelhead line in a 7wt or possibly or for swinging for bass?
