The Salahi incident was a huge breakdown in security, but also an ultimate fake it until you make it. They just dressed up appropriately and acted as though they belonged there.

My 11 year old daughter has a bit of an obsession with heists, robberies, etc. The other day my husband and I were planning a trip to NYC for the fall, and I mentioned that the cheapest flights I had found were into JFK airport. My daughter looks at me and says, “I know JFK airport. That’s where the Lufthansa heist happened” 😳 👀 😅 She is Italian on her father’s side, it’s in the blood 🤣 🇮🇹

Funny, with the Louvre heist, the drawings made The Mona Lisa look huge and from what I saw, she's a lot smaller 😆Great video as usual!

1:35 What?
2:29 Would that actually count as "a break-in"? More like an inspection.
4:30 The perps are still out there? Wow.
6:35 The fact that he did it not once, but twice is astounding.
11:32 It takes a lot of balls for him to steal the Crown Jewels.

Thomas Blood actually played the long game to steal the jewels. At the time, the public could view the jewels for a fee, so went as a parson with an accomplice posing as his wife. His "wife" feigned a stomach cramp and so Talbot Edwards took her to his apartment to recover. Blood feigned friendship with Edwards, even going so far as to buy his wife a new pair of gloves.
