I had often wondered how Tesla was able to outthink its rivals as well as develop technology so fast. I assume they are not just using AI for driving and have been using AI for ten years now. Musk must have received some information from his AI about the terrible implications of only a few having AI capabilities and so helped create OpenAI.

It worth remembering the AI works about as well as you can describe your problem.

Ex. Phind helped me save tons of time figuring out the issues of developing a common language between Japanese and French language developers.

I would however suggest using AI as more of a replacement for search engines, even though its better in most respects.

Thinking that an AI that learns by itself won't replace humans in many fields is being quite naive. And you didn't even talk about such AIs being used in the military, politics, justice... I wonder how anyone can wish to live in such a world.

Putting an unproveable AI in an external body is the definition of risky. I've not used GPT-4 directly for personal use, but I've been using Bing Chat and Bard. Bing Chat even with all its current safeguards can't be proven "safe" as I've seen by what it has created at my request and has demonstrated effective ability to reason in depth in ways I can find more humans than not that can't beat it. Current Bard as of May 20th 2023 doesn't appear to be comparable to Bing Chat in so many ways, but it can still effectively reason about a number of things I can find many humans that cannot.

As to the last statement in the video about being limited by the questions you know how to ask, the ultimate limit is by the trainers of the LLM: it's what questions they'll allow you to ask. That may I the future involve the prompt to stop doing something: this is a huge point about the risk of embodying an LLM, even with what we have now.
