I have to say that going to public school with Muslim friends helped show me what faith and dedication is. I was lukewarm and was also a “checkbox” Catholic, but seeing how much my Muslim friends loved their faith and was so knowledgeable (it seemed) made me search about my own. I think if I went to Catholic school, I would have been surrounded by lukewarm souls and never would have been pushed to study my own faith. Or perhaps God will always find his way to me. No one can tell. Just so blessed to be Roman Catholic 😊

Great conversation this is pure gold and it makes me happy that I have returned to the greatest church in the world and that’s the Holy Catholic Church all Glory belongs to God in Jesus name

For all the theological formation I had, I had no way of explaining the mystery of the Trinity to a Muslim friend clearer than how you did it. A million thanks for this.

As a non catholic... That was the clearest explanation of Mary. Thank you for clarifying this

This is me with my two American Protestant friends. For years, they bashed the Catholic Church, citing click bait article lies. As a "check box" Catholic at the time, it didn't really bother me until I started going to Church again. And even tho it didnt offend me, their "half truths" did push me to find the answers. And like this dude, after months of studying I was ready haha

It is true what they say... We need to ask the right question. Many of us need to pray about being able to ask the right questions... Like Jesus... Who always left his critics speechless and embarrassed... He always asked the right questions...Thank you for such a revelation... 🌹

The reason the world is in this mess today is that the Church has failed miserably to preach Jesus' all-consuming and unconditional love. What He endured in the Garden alone, (the Agony) surpasses the beatings, scourging, humiliation, the crowning with thorns and the Crucifixion; yet His love for us was infinitely more than all the horrors He endured. He loves us individually and uniquely. Preach this truth instead of the other rubbish that is being preached! I enjoyed the video very much.

Also the argument that the people crucified Jesus but God wouldn't allow his great prophet to be killed so He substituted him allowing them to be deceived. What's the point in that? So God sneaks around like a liar saving his prophet on the sly and allowing millions to be deceived? That makes no sense. Jesus said (paraphrased) : If God wanted to send an army of angels to protect me, He could.) If God wanted to save His prophet, surely the point would be to do it publicly....do some smiting or something? The public victory came with the resurrection.

Excellent discussion and very loving and non-judgmental and full of logical truth. Another question I have asked some if my friends who are of the Islamic faith is;
‘How does God forgive? ‘
How does mercy and justice meet in a being who is infinitely just and infinitely merciful? We both agree that God is infinitely perfect in all His attributes and that none of His perfections can violate any of His other infinite perfections so how do justice and mercy meet in Islam?
How can God forgive sin without violating His infinite justice? How can He be infinitely merciful and yet there be no forgiveness because of His infinite justice. Only in the Cross of Jesus do justice and mercy meet without either being offended. They were unable to answer other than to say God is loving and so he forgives, he just forgives. This discussion on the Mist Holy Trinity was clearer in its logic and perhaps more convincing. Beautiful! Thank you both.
