I had a similar issue while flying. A man behind me kept poking his fingers under my seat to feel my butt. When I turned around, I got this creepy smile. I turned back around and a few minutes later he did it again. That was it. I took out my brooch which had a large pin clip and I rammed in back, right into his skin. He screamed so loud it got attention. LOL

I'm suprised the mom didn't freak out when her daughter told her about someone luring her out to play, calling her by her family nickname. I would be on my way out with her while calling the cops.

OMG, Larry Gene Bell!! Yeah, pretty horrific! Btw., the person writing says "the book that 'Mindhunter' was based on, " which, I guess she's referring to the Netflix series. The book itself is called "Mindhunter" also, and is an excellent book by John E. Douglas. I believe he's actually written an entire book about this very killer, called "When a Killer Calls."
