At some point it occured to me that Germanic peoples are the great colonizers of the world. They were pretty much everywhere in Europe at some point, Northern US and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the whole British Empire, and even the first men on the Moon were German Americans.
The only other people who got around that much are the Asian steppe peoples, but they weren't really that much in settling.

I'm reading J. B. Bury's book the Invasion of Europe by the Barbarians but there are no maps in my copy. There were so many tribes and they travelled so far that this video is a nice visual to go along with the reading. Great job!!

I live in the Dutch city named Utrecht. It was on the border of the Roman empire. Still some traces are visable like underground excavations. Keep up the good work!
