I don't mind her not saying CC's name...i just don't get the WNBA hiring a old bird player that hates their brightest star openly.

Caitlyn Clark has inadvertently created the most popular reality TV series anyone could have ever imagined. It just grows in every direction. It's the gift that keeps on giving. Swoopes would still be hiding under that rock without CC, and her jealousy is a stain on her career.

Pathetic really.

This is all maybe hundreds of thousands will remember about Swoopes. Her obstinate refusal to show grace — even professionally — coupled with the coach-that-would-be-king, Geno, implying that the new fans need kiss the ring of the vets, has pretty much sullied women’s basketball history for many. For the players (and legends) who have shown grace, those new fans are theirs. For Sheryl, Geno and any other professional persons still showing hate, they have lost all credibility and have now been filed under “clown”.

Bottom line, Kelsey and others have been at Fever for multiple years. They won 13 games last year and only 5 the year before that. Their attendance was less than desirable and their televised games were non-existent. I think Kelsey is a great shooting guard and is good at scoring and better than average at defense but not much else. Lexie is a great teammate, defensive force, and energizer bunny. AB is very very good and getting better every week. CC makes that team function. Even when she struggles herself, she still draws the most defensive pressure and attention which opens the floor for everyone else. If they ever consistently knock down wide open 3's at 45% clip and finish layups from CC passes, they will be contenders but without CC, I am not sure they would have won 13 games this season.

Loyola University has fired women's basketball coach Sheryl Swoopes.

The school said in April that it would investigate allegations against Swoopes brought by former players. One former player, Cate Soan, has said Swoopes humiliated her and created a hostile environment.

"Sheryl Swoopes is no longer serving as the women's basketball coach at Loyola University Chicago, " athletic director Steve Watson said in a statement issued Sunday. "A search for her replacement will begin immediately. Loyola thanks Sheryl for her service to the women's basketball program."

A lot of them, like swoopes have been trying to downplay her skills for years. They think her fan base is all trash and she is overrated. She is absolutely an amazing player and the people who doubted her need to learn to eat crow.

I watched the game and it was not hard to miss. I can understand how a person can feel this way towards a person. At one point the commentator interrupted her while she was giving praise to someone by calling a play. It was somewhat hilarious.
