PARIS 2024: what to do in the Olympic City - Ep 1

The Paris Olympics are just around the corner, and in this series, you'll discover what you can do in Paris - whether during the Olympics or whenever you travel here. Paris is timeless! 😍 We start this first episode with the river Seine and its iconic bridges, where the Opening Ceremony will take place. We also go for a stroll around Île de la Cité to see the Notre Dame Cathedral, Sainte-Chapelle, and Conciergerie, then head to the Latin Quarter and Le Marais. It's a beautiful walking tour around the oldest parts of Paris.

I liked the reason why that area of the Sorbonne University was called the “Latin Quarter.” Didn’t know that they spoke Latin back then amongst the students and the in the churches etc. Thank you for the video.

Oh man this is making me miss Paris…i havent been there since 2017, and i was so happy that i went into Norte Dame there on a whim…considering what has happened now, I’m glad i did. I never did go into Saint Chapelle and now i definitely want to go inside…the windows are absolutely stunning.

In the square you visited, with all the houses similars, in the marais, in one córner is the Víctor Hugo home, the entrance is free, nice place.
