Yessss, awesome post. I wear my wide brimmed hat religiously and also wear sunscreen. (Lack of Color Paloma Hat). Honestly sunscreen on it's own isn't enough, my skin with sunscreen and no hat still gets damaged. I've been wearing my hat since age 20. I'm 46 now and barely any wrinkles on my face. Just smaller finer lines.

I love a portable shade option (umbrella with UV protection). Can't recommend it enough. Not only does it block 99.9% of UV rays, but it also feels significantly cooler under it (I think it may block some IR light as well). We had a 42°C (108°F) heatwave last summer, and without it I wouldn't have been able to leave house to run errands.

We have UV film on our windows but it doesn't block red or blue light. Blue wavelengths cause brown skin spots, so I still wear sunscreen with iron oxides indoors and out.

I might get that visor because I have not found a sunscreen that doesn’t break me out yet. the break out takes months to go away 😢

I wear sunscreen everyday, but this is so cool to hear there are more things you can do to protect yourself. I also have kids, and sometimes they flat out refuse to let me put sunscreen on them, so I'm definitely implementing some of these, if not all

Another thing is that the various Kolmar manufactured Korean sunscreens are very lightweight and awesome. That's the best bet for something that is cosmetically elegant on the skin.

where I'm from we are situated at the equator where UV is all time high. We do everything that you mention to avoid UV exposure😂 I even got double UV tint for my cars. To top it of, I wear sunscreen whenever I go out
