Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 Unboxing & First Impressions

The Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 sport a 5-inch WVGA Super Clear LCDs (800 x 480), it is powered by a 1Ghz Processor( hummingbird) and running Android 2.3.5 PMP. Storage Solution are either 8GB or 16GB and can be expanded via mircoSD up to 32 GB. its also got a front facing VGA camera for video chat, rear 3.2Megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n enabled. The Galaxy player 5.0 weighs 6.9 ounce and packs a 2500mAH battery.

It feels a little weighted and looks rather larger. The extra screen real estate will come in handy for watching video. There is no call option and can not make calls off the device. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up through our test and against other media player. But for now enjoy our unboxing. video

On the larger screen you will notice that the apps icons look stretched out. But on watching videos. it looks great

i really like the idea pf an Android mp3 play ive been waiting for somethiing to replace my iPod but this seems a little too big and phone like for an mp3 even the 4.0 model ..if it had a different and slightly slimmer design i would get it

Only better than the iPod because it's a lot easier to mange video watch video and all other good stuff

forget a Ipod touch im getting this I work at bestbuy I was looking at it and for a $230 and I can put a 32 gb mini sd in it forget it im happy with this. I hope that when i get it they dont come out with a new one that as 16 gb internal memory lol I just wish they put the headphone jack on the top
