This is a video of a 2015 Honda CRF 250L we've modified. This is now around 23 HP. Stock is about 18HP so it's a 5HP increase or about 28 Percent!! Not bad for these simple mods. We will be doing a lot of internal engine work this winter and will of course be doing videos to show the progress. Please Like, Subscribe and Share!!!!

Regarding the decibels, I have experimented with ways to lessen the volume. I use the Yoshi full system on my CRF250L, K&N filter, opened out air box (Custom snorkel), EJK, and disconnected O2 Sensor. Especially with the spark arrestor installed instead of the volume insert, the noise was painful, so I created a simple baffle system at the tailpipe. The result is still loud but much improved, plus the increased back pressure boosted the power in the lower RPM range (or so it seems to my butt dyno). Had to lean out the EJK settings to compensate of course. It feels great now with power where it's most useful, and not as excruciatingly loud. Just some thoughts :-)

Does the 13T counter sprocket affect the HP/Torque measurement of the dyno? Did you run a dyno test of the 305 Big Bore Kit? What about a video on the combination (and separately) 305 BBK + FMF Q4 & Megabomb / PowerCore?

Do you know if the 2020 CRF250L ABS is dual/twin spark? Do you have
any input on: " For the 2020 CRF250L : Does the 305cc Big Bore kit
work better with a FMF Q4 & Megabomb or not? Is you bike post 2017?

Hello, just a simple question. I guess this bike has been sold in the USA. I'm from France and very interested in this bike but according to Honda website it is supposed to be 23 hp STOCK (2012 - 2016) ! How come the crf250l is only 18 hp when sold in the USA ? Is there another way of calculating the hp the engine delivers ? Are these mods worth paying fot if the stock bike is already 23 hp ? Thx for your help !
The 2017 version in europa is said be 25 hp stock ...

Just drove a 2020 and it had a cheapy amazon full exh but it did have a large header pipe with expansion chamber so it musta been better than stock, the backfire screen was removed and it had an ejk fuel tuner on it. I cant imagine how slow they musta been stock cauee with all that done it still seemed pathetically slow. Our crf230 will out drag it. Buddy got a 50t rear sprocket for it, curious if the tall gearing is the only thing making it feel so lazy as 24 rwhp isnt that bad, lil more than what a 400ex puts out to the tire and they accelerate quite a bit harder. Hopefully it will still do 115km/hr. That would give it enough spare rpm cruising at 100.

So it seems that its all about the header on this bike.. I wish I could only buy the header and fit on a gutted pipe but you have to get the whole package..

stock for this bike is 24.4hp in the uk for 2017 upwards. if you add all these mods it would be around 28/29hp

You said you were foing to make a fmf pipe that sidnt require a ejk kit. Did i hear that correctly and where can i get 1

So, the larger header pipe caused a loss in low end torque? Also, these bikes are around 23hp from the factory. There's not a 28% loss in the drive train. 15% is typical for cars and even less for motorcycles.
Full disclosure is needed here. I know you are selling headers and silencers and EJK tuners, but something is a foul here...

K&N are garbage in the dirt. They flow well but gaps are to big. They allow dirt thru and will damage engine. Common knowledge in the dualsport crowd. Careful using them.
