You're just an absolute delight to watch! It's like you channel my inner voice. Lol! I'm a makeup artist and your makeup does not make you look like you have pinkeye. Lol! But i do think it's hard to wear eyeshadows with a red base without it starting to feel like the skin looks irritated. A trick I've found to offset that is to get some green involved a bit. If you like a brighter green that's fine, it will work for like the lid to inner lid corner. Or a frosted light lime green, light towards the inner corner of the lid and to about a 3rd of the way in. Darker and more matte from the middle outer area to the crease. Another option is a med matte khaki as you blend out the crease, or darker in the crease. But one of the most amazing things for brown eyes it to put any kind of medium to dark green liner in the waterline area - especially true when wearing shadows with red in them like you're wearing here - understated khacki all the way to a dark peacock type green, or anything in between. It gives such depth to brown eyes! It really surprised me honestly, but became one of my best tricks! It brings up almost rust colored tones in our brown eyes, like it lights up the iris of our brown eyes. The trick is to not do too much. When we get it JUST RIGHT, a person looking at us would never notice that we have on green liner. The compliment we get when we get it just right isn't about our makeup at all - instead they will say something like, "did you fall in love or something? You just have an inner glow about you today! I can't put my finger on it, but you're just mesmerizing today!" It's truly amazing!! And like I said (or was trying to say) it neutralizes any 'too red' feels with shadows like the beautiful ones you're wearing in this video. Well done hun!!

I a ti
I actually recently (well about 7 months ago) started a youtube channel myself on DIY self care and beauty type of stuff, but I have only put up 2 regular length videos so far - I'm so mad and frustrated with myself about that. I blame it on that the learning curve on the editing aspect has overwhelmed my technologically-challenged brain, but down deep i know that it's really that I'm just way to self conscious! I really had no idea how much we are putting ourselves out there and how hard it is to do so. It takes sooo much more courage than I thought! YIKES!! 😬 Waz it hard for you to do it in the beginning? If so, how did you get past it? If you have any words of wisdom or encouragement in that regard I would be forever grateful!! I love how seemingly unafraid you are of just being your authentic self!! Truly, you inspire me!! Thank you!!!

P.S. I'm commenting here from a different youtube account from my channel. My channel is @RoseShowsChannel. Just in case you might wanna check it out. I'm starting with nail stuff and nail polish making as a hobby, but in the long run it will be just all kinds of self-care including beauty, skincare, hair care etc and including essential oil recipes and natural remedies, including for pets. All the stuff I've gotten wisdoms om throughout my 40 years as a Cosmetologist. Of course I'd love it if you subscribed, but please don't feel that I'm asking you to. I guess I wanted to lyk that our channels are aren't in competition, and in case knowing would impact any words of wisdom, or tips from you in how I get past these fears of putting myself out there.

Sorry such a looong comment. It makes me nervous to ask for help and stuff, and especially since I look up to you. Embarrassed 😊🫠🫣

Kb shimmer holo glow flake formula is my favorite for multichrome polishes. The shiftiness with the holo flakes is the thing that if I could only wear one style of nail polish that would be it

Re multichromes: yes I totally agree that I wish people would “invent” more color rolls in multi chrome polishes. I have no idea how they are made but yeah. It was pretty cool when the red to black multi chrome came out and that’s why people went crazy over those. Hopefully more multi chrome color rolls will come out soon. I wish mixing multi chrome pigments changed them up but it appears to just muddy them up.

The micro shimmer in Bikini So Teeny is added for the high, glossy shine finish. Zoya describes this as "a delicate sheen of frosty, icy, silvery shimmer (e.g. Caresse, Arielle, etc.) but strangely, calls this finish "metallic" 😕. Apparently, there's shimmer in different finishes (pearl, shimmer, metallic, duo/multi chrome, etc.) depending on the size and the quantity of the shimmer.

Fun video!! My fav is micro glitter and holo flakie.

I feel like my list is almost the opposite! I think that is mostly because I dont like the feeling of textured nails at all really. Some flakies or small glitter toppers are ok, I just want them to feel smooth. Also I love a pearl, although I know its a controversial opinion. One of my favourites was opi melon of troy, which I used pretty much a whole bottle of.

Omg. What you said about multi chromes.. while i do like them, what you said is 100% on point!! Eclipse is something special. But it seems like the others are just dupes in different brand names. I've stuck to ilnp for my small group of multis. And don't wear them all that often. Essie cashmere matte collection was my nightmare finish.. hella difficult to apply, just to have it chip off in an hour. 😪

Eye shadow looks fabulous! Wish I could master my eye look!

The reason you can see the shimmer in the bottle but not on your nail is because it’s reflecting off the glass which makes the shimmer pop more. It’s the same reason you can see more of the multichrome shifts in the bottle than you can on the nail. You just need little glass caps to put over your nails and then you could probably see the shimmer and look like a weirdo at the same time! 😂🤣😂

I think, out of all the videos you make, your Topic Tuesday videos are my faves 🥳
You always find a way to put a twist on the topic, which makes it more fun 😊
I'll come back at some point with my answers to the TT question 😂

I love shimmers the best. Love glitter and flake toppers, but have to work so hard to remove. Have hundreds of nail polish bottles, but mostly cremes. Still trying to work successfully with jellies. Agree with you that CG I count is so disappointing as a non-color. That is why I watch so many swatch reviews before purchasing and found out that color did not appear on the nail. That neon lilac color is the hardest to find in a creme or shimmer.

Haha, I am actually looking for a color like I Count Even, but maybe a little more cool-toned. My nails are naturally kinda purple-ish so I'd love a nice wash of purple for them. It just sucks when a sheer jelly polish is in a normal collection and doesn't indicate to the customer exactly how sheer it is before purchase!

Multichromes always looks streaky. They are at the top of my list for most disliked finish !

I never really get the "pink eye" eye look complaint because it just looks like makeup, but maybe I just haven't seen a real bad application.
