Hot Wheels 1968 the “Original 16” – sort of! In this video I present a set of the first 16 Hot Wheels. But what is funny about this is that the guy who ordered wrote down Custom Firebird Twice so I thought that was just an error. Then later after pulling all the cars together I realized that he must have meant Custom Fleetside! So he did get a Custom Fleetside but that model is not featured in this video. Now that I did that I find it to be funny!

Exactly, the Hong Kong cars weren't washed off very well before painting that causes toning.

Just bought a complete set of sweet 16 in fantastic shape at a yard sale plus 32 others all 68/70 year models for whopping $50 about fell over when i started looking at their value, great day.

"Am I being thick" The film clip is described as Hot Wheels 1968 the original 16. So far so good. Here's the question. Why do all the cars have there production dates stamped on the base of the cars, that read 1967? Not 1968. And by the way. I only counted 15 cars on your podium.
