The more reviews of the M2C R1 I watch, the more I'm convinced that this is the shoe I will most likely wear for my fasted 5x5 in the fall.

I bought these in black. If you sign-up to their website, you get a code for $10 discount. At $150 I think they are very decent value for a PEBA blend midsole daily trainer (yes, they are for ultra, but my use case is a daily trainer). Size US10 is exactly 254g (9oz) which is fairly light.

BTW, the zero-sag insert is actually inside the midsole. That black part of outsole is not the zero-sag insert. I also thought it was but you can refer to some exploded diagram from M2C for the location of the zero-sag.

My only complaint so far is that the plastic locking adjustment piece in the bottom laces is hard to move; that plastic piece is cheaply made.

Nice review Tim! Could be my 100 mile shoe for my December race.... That said, I have 3 pairs of Prime X V1 (one is the strung version) and they all have 450 miles+. Bought them all for $150 on a 50% off Adidas sale. All look and feel like they are a couple weeks old. I think I could get 600 miles out of them easily. I may just get a new pair of those since so familiar.

Good morning. This brand is difficult to see at Spain. Now, i have the brooks ghost Max 1 to the easy/long run. Like to Tim. Have a great day.
