An international conference titled “Istanbul 1914-1922: War, Collapse, Occupation, and the History of Resistance” is organized in Istanbul on November 4-5, 2022.
During the conference, topics such as the social and economic transformation of Istanbul during the First World War and the subsequent armistice period, aid activities in the city, and the situation of orphans were discussed.
