Great video but for the automatic onboarding there is a setting in a configuration policy for Endpoint which will automate the on-boarding. This setting will only appear after saving the profile and the setting is called "Microsoft Defender for Endpoint client configuration package type": Onboard.
I saw this on a video which is only 3 months old and this is supposed to onboard all clients receiving this policy. This would mean there is no need to use all these other methods showed under Onboarding, unless the info in the other video is wrong. Maybe we should ask Jackson.
