Russian and Chinese Navy Ships Combine Forces to participate in the Russian Vostok-2022 exercises in early september 2022.
The Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy participated in the exercise with a flotilla of naval vessels consisting of the Type 055 large destroyer Nanchang, the Type 054A guided missile frigate Yancheng and the Type 903A comprehensive supply ship Dongpinghu. Some of the Russian ships observed were the Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov (339) a Steregushchiy-class corvette and Marshal Shaposhnikov (543) a Udaloy-class destroyer. The ships exercised in an area located between the Russian and Japanese Coastlines, in the Sea of Japan.
On the 15th September 2022 the Russian and Chinese ships conducted a joint policing Patrol in the Pacific Ocean around the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk.
During this period the USS Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group 5 was patrolling and conducting training operations in the Philippine Sea, located somewhere between Taiwan and Guam.
Footage shows some of the Chinese, Russian, Japanese and American Ships, beleived to be operating in the Pacific Region during the Russian Vostok-2022 exercises.
