Excellent. I really like your take on him.
I just with my right ear could enjoy it as much as my left.

It sounds like the guy who read the novel for the motion comic.

Nice excerpt.
One question though?
Who's the man doing the voice here?
I know it's not Jackie Earle Haley who played Rorschach in the movie.
His voice for the role is more raspy and serrated.

Not bad, there are a couple plosives in there and the voice is panned all the way to the left, but those are recording issues.

Performance wise, your voice cracked a couple of times, which gives me the impression that you're not quite comfortable in the voice. I'd suggest finding a different part of your throat to speak from, something that you don't have to strain or push.

Emotionally, it's okay. You have the monotone down, but it feels hollow. There isn't the rage and resentment at the world bubbling under an alienated detachment from reality that is iconic of the character. Rorschach is a character that has lost all hope for humanity, he's bitter and irritated by existence. There needs to be an air of condescension, a martyr complex stemming from his complete lack of faith in society that makes him feel that he's the only one capable of saving the world from itself.

In terms of an impression, I presume you're going for the Jackie Earle Haley voice, which is not nearly as smooth as yours. Really dig into that gravel, make him sound crunchy if that's what your'e going for.
