Sony is the master when it comes to Tvs. Especially the picture quality (you can check under labor conditions)
They even have Oled Killer tvs without Oled.

It is true that Sony is using Lg's oled panel for the new Bravia TV; however Lg is using the oled technology supplied by Idematsu Kosan (Japanese Company) for their signature oled series.

Sony have smashed it that TV is beautiful only hurdle is the price Samsung will have to step up there OLED game

I just purchased the z9d because of all the problems lg oled has not addressed. With Sony now making oled some of those issues are addressed. Motion should be better on the Sony and also upscaling. The only 2 issues are near black artifacts that show up unless you crush black levels, and also the lack of peak brightness with an oled panel. If Sony has addressed this then this tv will be the best you can buy. Unless it's way overpriced.
