You will never know the shame of eating an entire tray of McCain deep and delicious cake in the middle of the night after too many beers!

I attended a wedding years ago and the cake they served to guests was the Deep and Delicious - everyone flipped out. You never saw cake disappear so fast. It was the groom's favourite childhood treat. A memorable wedding, if only for the cake!!

"We're the Kraft peanut butter teddy bears,
with a fresh little story to tell !
Kraft Peanut butter keeps fresher in the jar
than peanuts in the shell ! "
Yeah - who else remembers that little sing song ad ? LOL

A common theme you will find is that a lot of products got worse after being sold to an american parent corporation. Usually because the focus became solely on profit as opposed to profiting off of quality.

I can confirm that Kraft peanut butter is way better than the US peanut butters. Also I’ve always found that Hostess cakes in the US, tasted too chemically. 😅

1. So Ah Caramel is a vanilla sponge cake with a cream and caramel top covered in chocolate. It is extremely sweet and definitely a favourite for many Canadians. It comes in a packet with two squares.

2. I have never seen Map-O-Spread, it's probably not a common item in the area of Canada where I live (I'm from Ontario). Also, maple is a natural sugar... you can actually boil maple syrup until it almost instantly turns into a sugar. Maple sugar is a popular replacement for white sugar.

3. Deep and Delicious cakes are amazing... they are a frozen cake that is moist and sweet but not overpowering. They come in chocolate, vanilla, swirl (chocolate and vanilla), and coconut.

4. Kraft Peanut butter is a sweeter peanut butter, less salty than other brands and is sold in Costco here. Kraft Peanut butter actually used to come in a glass bear container.

5. Maple Leaf Cookies are delicious... but they can vary depending on what company makes them. Some companies put two vanilla cookies with maple cream, some have two maple cookies with maple cream, or some have two maple cookies with vanilla cream. It just depends on what you like. My husband who is from Miami, loves maple cookies and it is all four of our sons favourite cookie.

6. Yes we have little Debbie but it's not as popular as Vachon. Jos Louis have definitely gone down in quality... it was much better 10 or 15 years ago. It now has a little bit of a fake chocolate taste. I used to love these as a child.

Maple is not a stereotype. We do love our maple products… A LOT!

When I was a Kid, a Jos Lois and a Pepsi was considered a Quebecer's breakfast of champions. Many videos can be found of Americans tasting these for the first time and the verdict is always the same..."why do we not have these in America?"

The thing most people keep overlooking about the McCain cakes is they are frozen and are ready so quickly after taking out of the freezer. Meaning the cakes are innately cool and refreshing which is something many baked cakes lack. Being recently frozen it also is able to retain its moisture better than a 'baked' good.

As a Canadian it’s so strange to think the US doesn’t have Kraft Peanut Butter. It’s literally what I grew up on and has 70% of the Canadian market.

7:00 Map-O-Spread is a maple tasting caramel spread. It's the artificial flavoured version of maple butter (maple syrup whipped and heated until it turns to a butter like texture )

As for someone who lives in PEI, We have a competitor in frozen French fries called Cavendish, named after the town here, they're fires are some of the best frozen fries I've ever tasted

If you ever want to travel to a place where there are acres of farms, right nearby a city, then PEI is the place to visit during the summers

I just discovered your channel and I've been "eating up" your videos, much like you would definitely eat up McCain's Deep and Delicious cakes, or the other snacks you discovered in this vid! Haha... I love watching you, you're so expressive!
