MUST EAT WITH MARIA COOKIES. Also, you can find jars or cans of dulce de leche spread in the mexican or international section of a regular grocery store in the U.S. or in Mexican / Hispanic grocery stores there too.

You can also just cook a can of sweetened condensed milk in a pan in the stove and make it yourself. - other people here have more tips for that too.

Shirriff was the company that used to make Caramel Spread (I loved it on toast). They stopped making it sadly many years ago. The PC Dulce de Leche is sufficient substitute. :)

In the US I would say carmel apple dip is easy to get and I have seen various carmel dips or sauces geared towards ice cream like carmel foor a sundae instead of hot fudge for a sundae but no never that specific one.

Dulce de Leche is not Canadian, but Hispanic. I'm sure the Latino population in the US ensures its presence somewhere.

You can make dulce de leche. Just cook unopened cans of sweetened condensed milk in a water bath. You can do it overnight in your slow cooker.

They have dulce de lèche in the US. What they likely don't have is Map-O-Spread or Grenache spread.

Doesn't the label say, "Dulce de Leche"? That's a Latin American thing. I'd guess that places in the US with a decent-sized Latinx population can find it. It's also pretty easy to make: you put a sealed can of sweetened condensed milk in a pot, cover with water, and boil for 2-3 hours - making sure the can always stays covered by a couple inches of water.
