Two things to add.
1) Make sure you're in Edit mode to find the drop down for the FX overlay, which is under the video playback on the left.
2) IF you have green showing around the edges of whatever you've keyed out. There is a slider in the settings of the 3D-keyer called "Despill" adjust that slider until the green is gone.

This video seemed to have potential but it seems that my own updated version of the free Davinci Resolve 18 doesn't have the same lay-out. I found 3D Keyer a different way and dragged it over the green screen clip but then I don't seem to have the marking that leads to Add FX Overlay.

When I go to dropdown looking for OPEN FX OVERLAY, it's not there... why would that be?

In DaVinci Resolve 18 iPad, I found the open FX overlay is default to set to be turned on once you apply the effect one your clip. Just go back to edit page to draw a line then it works.

For me it leaves gross looking black lines after I remove the green screen. No idea how to fix this happens with all green screen footage.
