Ballet dancers have insane hip flexors, but we actually aren’t supposed to rely on them in ballet technique. We need to use our glutes and inner thigh muscles to support us when we lift our legs as well. Super fascinating stuff.

I appreciate that you're showing people actually struggling with some of these drills. I'm so used to see your patients easily get it done in the video

I've been a PT for over 10 years. This is by far the best fitness/movement health channel out there. Thanks for sharing such detail.

Videos like this make me appreciate being alive in 2024. Things like this have always gone on, but with social media, the people have a chance to fight back. Thank you for this video.

I've been following ya'll for a while now, I just wanted to say never stop what you're doing. You've helped me threw my own injuries and thanks to you guys again I taught my own coach a few new things. I just graduated from highschool a couple months ago, I signed up for kinesiology classes fory 1st year of college on hopes of becoming a physical therapist. Thank you again and I hope to learn more from ya'll.

Thank you for sharing this information. It’s easy to be a gate keeper in this world. What your channel represents, truly helps the world get better.

I recently realized that my left side so damn tight it literally spread from my left ankle to the right side of my neck. Content like this has been helping me learn how to connect, train, and strengthen the weaker side of my body while not neglecting the compensating side. Please keep it coming. Physical education should be a required class and it's not. I genuinely believe if more people were taught how to truly interact with and cultivate their bodies, the (western) world would be much better all around ❤

Thank you very much! This is not a trash video. It really works. I was in pain for a week after I went heavy on RDL. Immediately after doing these exercises, I got relieved from pain. 😊

Such a thorough and easy to understand explanation. It’s not always what you think. Thanks!

I started wearing ankle weights and doing high knees for hip flexor workouts and butt kicks for hamstring workouts💪🏾
Simple yet very effective.

I’m in the same situation as your patient, good mobility, actually too good - just have a lingering issue from compensating for my back. Excited to see this video!

En el ballet se utilizan y se entrenan muchos estás partes. Recordemos que no solo el gimnasio es un deporte para mostrar ejemplos

Huh, this clears up a problem I'd been dealing with last year. Specifically, the patient pointing out where he's hurting. Now I know what it was and what I can do if it happens again, thank you.
